Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account and using Aquaholic Breeding Manager ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Aquaholic is a breeding management platform for tropical fish breeders. The Service is currently in beta testing and provided without charge. Features may change, and data may be reset during the beta period.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You must provide accurate and complete information when registering.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including uploading harmful content, attempting to access other users' data, or disrupting the Service. The Service is provided for personal and commercial fish breeding management purposes.

5. Data & Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of your breeding data. We process data as described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Beta Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" during beta. We may introduce subscription pricing at launch. Beta users will be notified before any billing begins. No payment is required during beta.

7. Limitation of Liability

Aquaholic is not liable for any loss of data, livestock, or business arising from use of the Service. You are encouraged to maintain independent records.

8. Aquaholics Marketplace

The Marketplace is a member-to-member advertising and community feature. Aquaholics is not the seller, buyer, payment processor, delivery provider, livestock guarantor or party to a transaction between members. Members are responsible for agreeing price, payment, collection or delivery, livestock condition and any dispute directly with one another.

Members must only advertise livestock they are legally entitled to sell and must comply with applicable animal welfare, licensing, transport, consumer and trading requirements. In England, commercial selling of animals as pets may require a local authority licence, including where animals are sold online. Hobby breeders remain responsible for determining whether their activity has become a licensable business.

Auction closing times are hard server-side deadlines. Last-second bidding (sniping) is permitted and auctions do not automatically extend. The highest valid bid received before the closing timestamp wins where any stated reserve has been met.

Aquaholics free draws are configured as no-purchase-necessary promotional draws. Paid raffle entries are disabled. Members creating a draw must not request payment, a donation, purchase or other money's worth as a condition of entry. Spin & Win is also free to enter and awards only stated Aquaholics promotional benefits.

We may remove listings, hide reviews, investigate reports, restrict Marketplace activity or suspend Marketplace access where reasonably necessary for safety, legality, fraud prevention, animal welfare or enforcement of these Terms.

9. Marketplace prohibited content

Do not list prohibited or unlawfully held species, misrepresent livestock, manipulate bids, create fake reviews, evade a suspension, demand payment for a free draw, harass other members, or use the Marketplace for scams or unrelated goods and services. Reports may be reviewed by Aquaholics moderators and relevant records may be retained for audit and safety purposes.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to users. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
